Why this web site uses Godaddy's Quickblog application
This entry was posted on December 24, 2006 and is filed under BLOG mix.
My blogging application is really great. It is called Quickblog. Quick Blog makes it so easy for me to create and continually manage my blog. Quickblog is offered by the company that I purchase my web hosting from, www.godaddy.com
I pay extra in order to use Godaddy's Quickblog application and it's worth every penny so far. There are many useful blog tools and features built directly into the application. Since Quickblog allows java scripts and custom HTML code, the sky's the limit.
My favorite feature so far would have to be the ability to create an unlimited number of blog accounts for myself, my friends or my family if I choose to. I can then create user names and passwords for each blog, set permissions and leave the rest up to the creativity of the author.
Can a blogger really call a blog their own if they have no say when it comes to the look and feel of their blog? Being able to customize blog layout (over 50 customizable templates) , colors and blog-add ons with Quickblog is another "must have" feature and with Quickblog you get just that. Best of all...it's easy.
If you are a Quickblog user or if you've used it in the past I'd love to hear your take on the application.
In the near future, I plan on going further into detail about my experiences using Quickblog's great features so check back from time to time.
For now, I will leave you with a few screen shots to look at. These following screen shots show different portions of my Quickblog control panel. You are welcome to save these images to your computer and use them anywhere on the net.

Earlier today I came across a great blog authored by Scot Smith. One of the first posts that I read at his creative blog was about a negative experience with his former web hosting company. Reading about his unfortunate experience was all the motivation I needed for creating a quick post to say how great of an experience I've received from my web hosting company. Here's the URL to Scot's post so you can get the scoop on why shifting the blame to your ...
