A quick post to say how great of an experience I've received from Godaddy.com
This entry was posted on April 29, 2007 and is filed under godaddy.
Earlier today I came across a great blog authored by Scot Smith. One of the first posts that I read at his creative blog was about a negative experience with his former web hosting company.
Reading about his unfortunate experience was all the motivation I needed for creating a quick post to say how great of an experience I've received from my web hosting company. Here's the URL to Scot's post so you can get the scoop on why shifting the blame to your customer is always wrong.
With that said, I'll start off by saying that this website is proudly hosted with GoDaddy.com which has been my first, and so far my only hosting company. Simply put, GoDaddy offers their customers rock solid hosting plus many, many other services for a more than reasonable price. For example, right now there having a .99 cent .info domain name sale.
This is the second time I've written about Godaddy here at the acreativedesktop.com blog. The first time I wrote about them in a blog entry titled Why this web site uses Godaddy's Quickblog application. To this day that entry has still received only one comment. That comment was from a Godaddy employee named Bill. He thanked me for the positive words. I'd imagine he found the post from their search engine keyword tracking system or something of that nature.

Thanks for the compliment! Sadly, we don't have a tracking program (at least not that I know of or have access to). I just routinely search for Quick Blog-related entries (or I can always query the database, heh). We'll keep working diligently to make this the only blogging engine you'll ever need! Reply to this
