30th anniversary of Atari's Missile Command

Do you remember playing Missile Command on your Atari 2600 when you were a kid? I know I remember playing the game because it was one of the very first home video games I'd ever played. When I heard the news about a new online multi-player version of Missile Command I wasted no time adding the game to the list of online arcade games here at ACreativeDesktop.

Now you can play Missile Command multi-player online with up to 7 of your friends!

Just like any successful game, there's just something about Missile Command that has kept people coming back for more. Maybe its the sounds or the overall challenge the game provides, I'm really not sure. Take the time to play this classic game and you'll see why.

Here you can listen to and download ring tones and text alert sounds from the movie "Super Troopers" for free. There are a total of 12 different sounds from the movie "Super Troopers". Farva, Captain O'Hagan, Ursula, and a few others.

There are also avatar sized images I made to go along with the "Super Troopers" ring tones, 6 of them to be exact. Some of them might even make good avatar pictures, so if you want to grab any of them, you can do so via the links on the page.

This image is the the German couple who gets caught speeding in a stolen Porsche and the ringtone is the German man offering payment if Trooper Rabbit and Trooper Ramathorne drop the speeding violation.

Super Troopers is a classic comedy that never gets old, I still laugh every time I sit down to watch it. According to the IMDB, there is a "Super Troopers 2" in the works. Right now it's categorized as in production and not due out until 2011.

Have you ever noticed fake trees around your city? These "trees in disguise" are actually towers that send and receive many different types of signals like cellular and Internet. They come in all shapes sizes, and colors ranging from pine trees to palm trees.

Just so happens that those trees are the ones showering us with coverage or as you saw in the video, a dumping of sprinkles.

There are countless numbers of these towers where I live that started popping up many years ago. It wasn't until I started messing around with Clear WiMAX that I started to notice them. Most towers will be home to multiple technologies from multiple cellular and Internet companies.

Here's a few pictures of CLEAR WiMAX towers near my house. I'm not sure what the towers look like where you live but they're probably very similar.

ACreativeDesktop creates free and easy pumpkin carving patterns

Right before Halloween became popular last year, ACreativeDesktop (me) published the 40 pumpkin carving templates, patterns and stencils page. All patterns that are located on this website are free for you to download, carve, and even modify if you want to.

Wanting to make it easier for template comparison, I put as many as I could on each page.Without the aid of a pumpkin carving template, a pumpkin carved by me looks like the work of a 5-year old. Turns out I'm not alone because in the month of October the pumpkin page received 15K unique visitors inside of 25 days.
